Appeal Cases

An Appeal is a process for requesting a formal change to an official decision.

All appeals must be made in a timely fashion. This means that you have a time limit to appeal a negative decision. It is important to act, as more time we have to prepare for your case the better our chances are at reversing the negative decision. We may have to gather evidence and interview witnessess.

Our firm handles various types of appeals to the Appeal Division/IAD of the Immigration and Refugee Board.

Such appeals include:

  • Removal Orders,
  • Family Sponsorship Refusals
  • Medical Inadmissibility
  • Criminality
  • Inadequate financial arrangements for settlement
  • Failure by Entrepreneurs to meet terms and conditions
  • Failure by a Permanent Resident to meet the residency obligations set out in section 28(2) IRPA)

If you are faced with an immigration problem affecting your status or that of a close relative in Canada, or if you require additional information, kindly contact our office.
